Clarification of Mapping Rules 2025

Hi together,

I have trouble understanding an aspect of the mapping rules.

Page 2 of the 2025 Mapping Rules states: “Each object is unique in
the arena - do not report multiple of the same type (in which case each additional detection will be discarded).”

Does “type” refer to the object category such as April-tag, real object, etc. ? Or does this refer to unique classes within each category, for example “flammable gas” or “radioactive” for hazmat signs?

Also, can we expect only a single instance per unique object type ? If multiple instances are present, should all but one detection be discarded by our solution?

Thanks for helping to clarify this,
